The Role
The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst plays a central role in the financial planning and strategic management of the business. They provide data-backed insights to help stakeholders make tactical and strategic decisions, interpret complex financial models, assess economic and business trends, and draw conclusive, actionable insights from a variety of sources.

Principal Accountabilities, Qualifications, and Experience

• Prepare budget and re-forecasts.
• Support the delivery of a finance data set that is accurate and trusted by the Commercial Division.
• Own all insight, analysis, and analytical reporting for the Division.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting and data.
• Manage financial plans, forecasts, and budgets for the commercial perimeter.
• Perform reconciliations and data checks as required.
• Assist and challenge the commercial team in monitoring their expenditures to ensure the budget is appropriately utilised.
• Participate in the monthly accounting closings.
• Build and analyse financial reports. Review them with the commercial team, providing strategic insight.
• Inform and advise the financial department of any change in assumptions, budget deviation, financial risk, etc.
• QCIMA or ACCA qualified.
• Demonstratable knowledge in accounting and budget controlling.
• Commercially focused with demonstratable experience in a similar role.
• The ability to speak French or motivation to learn French would be desirable.
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities using tools such as EPM, Power BI, or Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software would be an advantage.
• A full valid Driving Licence and Passport are essential.
