Responsibilities:
* Skilfully prepare and portion meats according to customer specifications
* Perform meat cutting, trimming, and slicing with precision and efficiency
* Ensure proper handling and storage of all meat products to maintain freshness and quality
* Uphold health and safety standards in accordance with regulations
* Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, offering advice on cuts and cooking methods
* Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organised work environment

Requirements:
* Proven experience as a butcher, with a minimum of 4 years in the industry
* Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and equipment operation
* Strong knowledge of different meat types and cuts, including beef, pork, lamb, and poultry
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
* Effective communication skills and a friendly demeanour
* Commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards
* Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
