We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Imports and Operations Administrator to join our Operations/Marketing Department. This role is crucial in supporting our team and ensuring smooth operations in importing goods and administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative and clerical support within the Operations/Marketing Department.
• Assist in filing and securely archiving records, particularly related to imported and purchased goods.
• Raise purchase orders and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
• Source new products as directed by the Marketing Director, and suggest new products relevant to the brand and season.
• Multi-task, work flexibly, and handle pressure to meet deadlines and targets.
• Adhere to agreed working practices and deadlines to ensure effective and efficient service.
• Attend relevant meetings both in the office and at other locations.
• Be available for training and guidance on products and presentational skills.
Essential Experience:
• Proven experience in an administrative role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Desirable Experience:
• Operational experience in importing goods.
• Experience in purchasing and supplier negotiations.
