DEP Pipes – Administration Assistant
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 p.a. depending on experience
Hours: 8am to 5pm - Monday to Friday
Location: Maidstone, Kent (Office Based)
Description:
Working for a manufacturing and international distribution company for motorcycle exhausts in the centre of Maidstone who seek an Administration Assistant. This is a varied role, for a proactive, organised, and motivated individual.
The role will consist of:
* Provide administrative support to the Director for both the company and private tasks.
* Manage calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements.
* You will act as first point of contact for general enquiries from both customers and distributors.
* Processing sales orders through to invoice, send statements, chase outstanding invoices.
* Obtaining estimates and seeking competitive prices and processing orders for raw materials.
* Screen and prioritise incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
* Maintain and update website and online store.
* Support the Workshop Manager.
* Support the Finance Administrator.
* Booking couriers for outgoing shipments.
* General office administration.
* Any other tasks as designated by the Director.
Requirement:
* Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or a similar role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organisational and time management abilities.
* Proficiency in Excel and other relevant software.
* Working knowledge of Sage.
* Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
