The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Production Operatives for a busy client of ours based in Bridge (Canterbury).
Own transport is ESSENTIAL due to Rural Location.
Pay:£12ph.
Shifts:
M-F 09:30- 18:00
Tu,Th and Friday 09:30-18:00
M-F 14:30- 23:00.
Job Description:
The role of this position is to run one, two or three of the machines in the production department, the bottling line, the disgorging line and the labelling machine. As a Production Operative you will need to be diligent, an eye for detail and self-starting in a fast paced, high tempo production environment. They must be willing to learn, as well as train in a wide array of skill sets and job functions.
Reporting and Communications:
· You will report to Assistant Production Manager and Production Manager
· Internal: Assistant Production Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager.
Production activities:
· Maintain a clean and organised working environment in the Production Department
· Set up and run one of, if not more, the bottling line, disgorging line and labelling line.
· Clean and maintain their respective line/machines and workplace areas.
· Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks/shipments.
· Complete other duties as assigned.
Procedures and protocols:
· Follow Health and Safety protocols.
· Ensure QC procedures are followed.
· Learn and regularly review the three part job descriptions for each relevant work station.
· Assist training new Production Hands/Operatives.
