We are looking for a Stock Control Operative on a permanent basis for a client of ours in Aylesford. This role is Monday to Friday and on a rotating shift pattern of 6-2 and 2-10.
As a Stock Control Operative you will be carrying out queries on stock, cycle counting and supporting stock projects.
Your duties will be:
* Maintaining good customer service by managing stock and supporting related projects. Including handling stock transfers, stock checks and resolving any stock issues.
* Transferring stock to correct place and general housekeeping to keep the warehouse tidy and clean.
* Investigate any stock discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
* Pick, check and prepare orders for other departments or internal partners.
* Complete paperwork in a timely manner.
* Meet weekly targets such as counting stock and updating the system.
* Manage the space in the warehouse by unloading and organising stock.
* Investigate returned goods and report on them to reduce the number of returns.
* Manage the orders ensuring they are processed and delivered correctly.
* Communicate with other departments and inform the supervisor of any issues.
* Process returns by checking and putting back stock correctly.
* Review tasks outstanding and complete
Salary: Up to £27544.05 P/A
