A very successful organisation with sites across the UK are looking for Trainee Operators to work at their site in Medway Towns. Due to the start and finish times and location, own transport is advantageous.
Your duties will include some general yard/site maintenance, machine operating and completing the relevant records required.
The role is a manual one and some heavy lifting is involved. You will need to be keen to learn, be numerate, literate and a team player.
There are two shifts available either Days:
* 06:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday. Overtime is applicable for all hours worked in excess of 40 per week at Time and a half. Pay rate on days is £12.00 per hour.
or Nights
* 18.00-06.00, Monday-Thursday, 40 hours are paid at £13.00 per hour and 8 hours at £19.50 per hour with some Sundays available which are paid at Double time.
The company offers excellent benefits and career progression. You will be trained to drive a Forklift Truck, IOSH and other skills.
