Job Title: Machine Operator

Location: Rochester

Shifts & Salary:

* Day Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 6AM - 6PM, £23,000 per annum
* Night Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 6PM - 6AM, £23,000 + £1,800 night shift allowance (£24,800 per annum)

Overview:

My Client is a fast paced, highly process-driven manufacturing site. Operate, configure, and maintain machines to ensure smooth production and high-quality output. Enjoy a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and salary increases just after 1 year.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform pre-checks and clean the production line.
* Set up machines and prepare raw materials.
* Replenish packaging and films.
* Handle manual tasks, including stacking finished goods,
* Maintain equipment hygiene.
* Complete and maintain accurate documentation.
* Record downtime and minimise delays.
* Resolve machine stoppages.
* Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
* Assist in training other staff.

Skills Required:

* Experience with machinery in food production.
* Physically fit for manual handling tasks.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Competent IT skills.
