We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Fitter for on-going temporary position with our well established client in the Gravesend area.
It is essential to have a minimum of 3 years experience in vehicle inspection, pre MOT, DoT regulations.
You also must have full UK driving licence and have City and Guilds Mechanic/Technician (or equivalent) training.
The right candidate will be responsible to the foreperson fitter for the maintenance and repair of the vehicle fleet.
You will be responsible, but not limited to:
* To take vehicles for test and MOT
* To fit and remove vehicle for MOT including deep cleansing
* To carry out planned checks and maintenance of the fleet of HGVs, vans and other vehicles
* To respond to unplanned work and break downs, this may mean out of hours, during scheduled breaks, weekends
* To fit and remove vehicle decals when required
You will be working Monday to Thursday, 7am to 4:30pm finish and Friday 7am to 15:30pm finish.
