Hays is excited to be partnering with a market-leading manufacturing business, specialising in the environmental/ sustainability space. Based out of family-feel, sociable offices in Sutton, the company have been running for nearly 80 years. They are recognised as innovators in their industry, valuing quality and collaboration, as they supply businesses across the UK and Europe. You will be joining the team on a part-time basis, working reduced hours 9-3.
Your new role
You will be joining a busy and friendly finance team, reporting into the Hays-placed Finance Manager. You will be supporting the finance team as they go through an exciting change of systems, with varied responsibilities including but not limited to:
* Bank reconciliations
* Posting sales invoices, and sales cash.
* Sending customer invoices and monthly statements.
* Daily invoicing and orders reporting
* Provide AP, AR and IT support when needed.
* Process monthly journals including fixed assets
* Month end closing tasks
* Costing Queries
What you'll need to succeed
You will bring experience in busy finance teams, as an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar. You will have experience on both Purchase and Sales Ledger, and be comfortable managing large datasets. You will be organised, accurate and a team player. You will have a plan to get to Sutton 4 days a week, and be available to start quickly. You will be looking to work part-time on reduced hours.
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary fo £28,000 FTE, working on a flexible part-time basis 9-3. You will have one day a week working from home. Further benefits include free parking, a pension scheme and 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
