Primary Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an engaging and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in schools located in the East Kent are including Folkestone, Dover and Ashford.

The successful Teaching Assistant will work with classes in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 ranging from year 1-6, supporting students who are eager to learn. Candidates that demonstrate a proactive and supportive approach will be desirable.

Most Teaching Assistant roles will be temporary but offer a mix of full and part time. Temp-to-perm opportunities will often come up regularly.

Requirements for this role are as follows:

- Experience working as a teaching assistant in a UK primary school
- Ability to showcase excellent behaviour management strategies
- Live within easy access of the Folkestone, Dover, Ashford area
- Be in possession of an enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to acquire this)
- Be able to assist the class teacher with classroom preparation
- Confident working 1:1 and within small groups of children
