Company - We are working with a long-standing local main contractor who have a reputation for both quality and stability. They are weathering the challenging construction market well and continue to pick up new projects with their long-standing clients. Working mainly in the new build social housing sector, they typically undertake schemes of between 30 - 70 units in the South East London/Croydon area with approximately 10 live sites currently. Due to a recent project win, they now seek an experienced site-based project manager in the Bromley area to oversee a 50 unit new build apartment scheme. With the Project due to start imminently, this is an immediate role offered on a permanent basis with future works already secured.

Role - Working as an experienced project manager who will have full responsibility for your scheme, reporting directly to the construction Director. Joining the project at an early stage, you will be heavily involved in the creation of the site programme, design co-ordination, Sub contract management, client liaison, commercial management (with the support of a site based QS) and motivating and driving the site team.

Experience needed - You will have worked as a senior site manager or project manager previously and have delivered multiple schemes from cradle to grave. You will be technically minded and be comfortable with the programming, scheduling, commercial and design management and have worked on new build social housing schemes previously. This is a permanent role with the successful candidate expected to be a long-term appointment,
