You will be joining a leading multinational manufacturing and distribution company based in Crawley. With almost 600 employees in offices all over the globe, they are highly successful, while remaining independent and family run. The organisation has a clear set of values, informing their day-to-day business, growth plans and hiring process. They pride themselves on their sustainability message, ESG policy and history. The company work on a hybrid pattern, with 3 days a week in smart, sociable offices. You will be joining on an 18-month contract to cover a maternity leave.
Your new role
You will be joining a busy, collaborative finance team of 8, reporting into the Financial Accounts and Audit Manager. This is a hands-on role with responsibilities across America, Europe and Asia, driving financial control and month end reporting. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
* Month End Financial & Management reporting (incl. P&L, Balance Sheet)
* Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet accounts
* Reconcile Revenue and Cost of sales reporting.
* Reconcile monthly uplift accounts, accruals & prepayments.
* Calculate and post monthly depreciation & amortisation charges.
* Process quarterly VAT returns/monthly US State sales tax returns
* Annual corporation tax returns & Monthly / Quarterly tax calculations
* Manage annual local audit/returns and assist in Group Audits
* Capex Tracking and Reconciliations
* Statutory Accounts
* Monthly reconciliation of intercompany GL accounts/debtors/creditors
What you\'ll need to succeed
You will be part qualified ACCA, CIMA or equivalent. You\'ll bring Financial Accounting experience working in a multinational company, including month-end responsibilities and reporting. You\'ll need strong Excel (this will be assessed) including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and SUMIF. You will be bright, hard-working and ambitious, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
What you\'ll get in return
You will receive a salary fo £38,000 - £42,000 depending on experience. There is a study support package available, employer pension contribution and 25 days holiday + bank holidays. The HR are also reviewing their policies currently, with more to follow in the new year including discounted gym membership. You will be working on a hybrid pattern, with 2 days from home per week.
