JOB TITLE: HR Manager
LOCATION: Rochester
SALARY: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour

TERM: Temporary
HOURS: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm

The day to day duties in your new job would be:

* Collaborate with the Leadership team to support business strategy development and implementation, workforce planning, and culture building aligned with our values
* Provide proactive and HR support and advice on employee relations, organisational design, and HR policy implementation
* Ensuring compliance with employment laws, and providing guidance on topics like Discipline, Grievance, Diversity & Inclusion, and GDPR
* Work closely with Senior Managers and Talent Acquisition on recruitment and selection processes, ensuring talent attraction, recruitment, and retention meet business needs
* Collaborate with Senior Managers to determine departmental training and development needs, maintain a succession plan, and ensure performance management processes are embedded
* Provide leadership, support, and guidance to the HR Advisor



We'd love to speak to candidates who have:

* Advantage if DBS checked
* Proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably in an educational setting
* Proficient IT skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to convey information clearly and accurately both orally and in writing
* Systematic and thorough working approach with the ability to work independently
* Immediately availability and happy to commit to a temporary position
