Due to a period of impressive growth and expansion, my forward-thinking client based in Kings Hill is looking to recruit a dynamic Assistant Accountant. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working to specific deadlines you will play a hugely important role in the continued success of this company.
You will be expected to provide accurate and timely information for inclusion in the monthly management reports. This is a challenging and varied role which offers excellent exposure to a variety of accounts functions including sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control, reconciliations and VAT returns. A confident approach is essential with the ability to work on your own but also a willingness to offer solutions and improvements to the current systems.
It is imperative that you have advanced Excel skills and a previous working knowledge of Sage 50. You must be reliable, highly numerate and methodical in prioritising your workload. The minimum requirement for this role is AAT qualified. Study support could be offered for the right candidate.
