An established global company is seeking a Senior Buyer for its Procurement team, focusing on Direct Materials. This is a practical role for someone looking to further their career in procurement.
About the Role: As a Senior Buyer, you will:
* Source and contract for specific spend categories.
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate terms.
* Contribute to project meetings, focusing on procurement aspects.
* Ensure accurate supplier price management and SAP updates.
* Occasionally deputize for the Procurement Manager.
Who You Are:
* Experienced in procurement, ideally with a background in Direct Materials.
* Strong in negotiation and communication.

* Familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems.
* Degree educated, CIPS qualification desirable.
