My client a leading manufacturing and production business based in Mid-Kent is seeking an experienced Manufacturing and Cost Accountant to join their existing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- To produce and distribute accurate weekly / monthly management reports to the operational leaders and regular KPI reporting.
- Support the period end / monthly processes and reporting as well as the annual forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Month end processes including accruals, prepayments and general journal processing.
- Financial analysis and review of KPI`s and sales trends to help support strategic decision making.
- Stock Control and Cost Accounting
- Be a financial business partner to the business and key stakeholders.
You will need to be:
An accomplished Management Accountant with a demonstrated ability to produce robust and commercial management reporting with suitable commentary. A proven ability to produce regular operational and KPI reports to support business strategy. A demonstrated ability to act as a key business partner to relevant key stakeholders. You will also ideally have or be working towards a relevant financial qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CIMA (or be AAT qualified) and have worked within a similar role within a busy manufacturing or production-based business. A salary on offer of up to £45,000 DOE with a range of company benefits - job reference #J11428
