Job Overview: They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Account Senior to join their team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and executing audit engagements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and providing valuable insights to clients.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and execute audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop audit plans tailored to the client's business environment.
• Review financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, addressing their concerns and providing proactive solutions.
• Assist in the development and enhancement of internal audit methodologies and processes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ACCA or ACA qualification is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on audit in the UK Market is essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and project management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and audit software.
