We are working with a vibrant and expanding Science Park who are looking for a Building Manager to join their growing team.

To be successful in this role, you will be proficient with organising maintenance-related tasks, be able to manage a team of estates professionals and be able to generally contribute to building the community and eco system of the site. An IOSH qualification would be desirable for this role.

The Role:

* Maintaining relationships with tenant community within specified building, to understand concerns and brief on upcoming developments.
* To maintain up-to-date information on tenants, to include key personnel and emergency contact details.
* To work in partnership with internal departments to develop robust procedures to effectively manage tenant queries and issues.
* To undertake periodic inspections / audits to identify and address maintenance and H&S issues in the building.
* To conduct periodic audits of all lab tenant activities, ensuring compliance with site policies and procedures.
* To develop robust procedures for effective management and communication of emergency response in the building.
* To set up and manage logistics & waste plan for the facility to include the delivery of goods / consumables / central stores and removals.
* To provide governance over works happening within the facility.
* To provide regular feedback to line manager regarding operational issues and to liaise with other building managers on the estate to ensure best practice.

Package:

* Competitive salary £35,000-£38,000/annum.
* Annual leave of 23 days plus public/bank holidays per annum.
* Sick pay of 5 days company pay, in any rolling 12-month period, after completion of probation.
