Accounts Assistant | Medway – Fully Office based | £22-26K
A well-established, privately owned business based in Medway, has a vacancy for an enthusiastic and driven Accounts Assistant to join the team. This is a friendly, collaborative finance team and they are looking for someone like minded who is a real team player and happy to roll their sleeves up and help where needed. This role is full-time and fully office based.
Reporting to the Management Accountant, your role will be to provide financial support with a variety of accounting tasks. You will be a fundamental team player, with enthusiasm to further your studies with a study support package offered.
Role and Responsibilities
• Processing financial transactions – AP, AR, payments, expenses and credit cards
• Bank reconciliations
• Ensuring timely payment processing and maintaining good working relationships
• Journal preparation and processing
• Prepare BACS supplier payment runs
• Supporting payroll/hr duties
• Updating schedules
• Assist with improving processes
What you will need
• 1 or 2 years Accounts experience
• Keen to further your studies
• Excellent communicator and team player
• Used to working in a busy, fast paced environment
