Electrician
Where you’ll work: The role is considered to be multi sited and the nature of the work will therefore require travel to any of the College sites as required.
Your hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday), 52 weeks per annum.
Your pay: Tier 2 - £38,340 per annum
Working within North Kent College’s Estates Team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitability qualified, experienced and passionate individual to join the team as an Electrician.
This role, reporting into the Estates Manager (W), can be based on the Hadlow or Tonbridge Campus according to the successful candidate’s preference, but could require work to be carried out at any College site. The postholder will assist the Estates Management Team in ensuring the college’s electrical systems are maintained in a safe and serviceable state through the conduct of planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance where necessary. The candidate will also contribute to the work of future-proofing the electrical systems.
To be considered for this role, candidates will as a minimum be 18th Edition certified.
The candidate will have good literacy skills, with the ability to use their own initiative and prioritise workload in order of urgency. They will have experience in a similar role, working as a team player with the willingness to challenge existing processes and learn new skills. If this sounds like you, press apply now!
