Role: Electrical and Instrumentation Day Technician
Location: outskirts of Maidstone
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30

My client, a international leading manufacturing company based in the outskirts of Maidstone, is currently recruiting for an experienced E&I Day Technician to join their rapidly expanding company.

In this role, you will be working under the Maintenance leg of the engineering department with a focus on reliability and preventative maintenance. This involves carrying out all maintenance activities, responding to breakdowns, and implementing corrective action.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- To carry out site-wide routine inspections, corrective and preventative maintenance of the plant and equipment, logging equipment parameters and defects as necessary in order to establish trends and abnormality reports to assist in plant evaluations
- To ensure that any defect report sheets are completed
- Follow routine and preventative maintenance programmes for all Low voltage electrical and instrumentation equipment
- The overhaul and repair of electrical, instrumentation, and pneumatic components and assemblies when cost-effective to do so, working to high engineering standards of repair to deliver reliable, excellent quality spare parts
- Use SAP PM as a Computerised Maintenance Management System tool to report notifications, record equipment histories and to be able to use SAP to search for and to locate spare parts
- As necessary to provide shift over for Shift Maintenance Technicians

uptimes
- Complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
