Role: Process Engineer
Location: Near Maidstone

My client, an international leading manufacturing company based in the outskirts of Maidstone is currently recruiting for an experienced Process Engineer to join their rapidly expanding company.

Your role will involve participating in the ongoing process improvement program focusing on the CHP area comprising of gas turbines, boilers, and respective water treatment.

Duties include:
- Assisting the Utilities Manager in any reasonable tasks to achieve Safety, Environmental, Compliance and Operational targets
- Support the operation during unplanned shuts of hours, according to a rota previously agreed with the department manager
- Ensure resources (internal & external) are assigned to complete projects in a timely manner
- Conduct and deliver regular reviews as to the current status of individual projects
- During shuts to assist the team with tasks, analysis, and corrective actions as required
- To assist in the deployment of Lean techniques throughout the site in all departments
- To undertake projects of improvement, extension, or modification of equipment in order to optimise efficiency, reliability, and safety
- To maintain and develop your skills to keep up with the demands of changing technology, working practice, and flexible working and to assist with the development and training of colleagues

Candidate Profile:
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
- 1 - 3 years experience in a similar position
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient IT skills
- Team player
