Job purpose:
Reporting to the Mechanical Design/Project Manager, you will be required to attend site meetings, support with CAD HVAC Design, send out enquiries and review designs. Your task list will grow as your skillset grows in line with the role for which you have been employed.
Attributes Required:
• Excellent IT skills essential – CAD specifically
• Experience in a construction environment would be desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Engineering systems and software beneficial
Main Responsibilities:
The role is primarily, but not limited to, the following activities:
• Take responsibility for our HVAC/Mechanical designs on our projects and provide high standard drawings and specs where required.
• Oversee any DB projects or where we are exposed technically on projects.
• Assist estimating where details are limited and we need some design input to complete designs.
• Project manage schemes allocated to you, taking full responsibility of project delivery both practically and financially.
• Being responsible for procurement and the management of sub-contractors and staff to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
• Main point of contact for our clients on these projects.
