I am currently working on an exclusive basis with a market leading business based in North Kent who are looking to recruit a Finance Director. Leading the finance function and working closely with the Managing Director, you will be responsible for:
- Oversee budgeting and planning processes, as well as the production of monthly management accounts
- Help refine the 5-year strategic plan, incorporating business objectives and new business initiatives
- Statutory reporting, annual audited accounts, annual returns and tax computations
- Lead credit discussions with both customers and suppliers
- Sign off contracts from a finance and legal perspective, within guidelines
- Manage key relationships with bankers, auditors, tax advisors, insurers, government agencies
- Daily management of the finance team
The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified with proven commercial acumen and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in order to drive change and add value.
