A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a LGV C (Class 2) driver to join an established and growing family business. Colin Batt Removals is an established removal company, specialising in piano removals, serving the whole of the UK and Europe. We are looking for an experienced removals operator with demonstrable leadership experience who is comfortable and able to fulfil all removals activities including loading lorries, packing and managing removals jobs.
Colin Batt Removals prides itself on service, we constantly strive for perfection, and we need an individual who embodies these values and can help us deliver on our motto ‘Where Service is Key...’. You must possess strong leadership skills, be utterly reliable and of good character, have effective communication skills and be smartly presented and courteous at all times. This is a key customer-facing role and as such you should be comfortable working with all and any customers, such as celebrities and large corporations.
You must have a digital tachograph, have a clean LGV C licence and be physically fit. The working week usually involves up to 45 hours, normally between 7.30am and 4.30pm. You may be required to work additional hours and you will be required to spend nights away.
