This is a really lovely role, our client is seeking a confident and approachable HR Assistant with excellent administrative and communication skills, highly organised, with fantastic time management and the ability to multi-task. You will provide administrative support to the Head of HR to enable an efficient, effective and confidential HR service to all employees.
Duties will include recruitment, employee on boarding and off boarding, communications, policy development and implementation, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives and you will be a trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR-related queries and issues.
The HR Assistant will undertake administrative tasks, processing payroll, producing contracts, facilitating recruitment and induction, conducting exit interviews, managing metrics, providing comprehensive note-taking and administrative support for training and development activities.
The person:
* Professional certifications in HR (e.g.CIPD) would be nice but not essential.
* Proven experience in an HR administrative or assistant role from within a manufacturing or a diverse environment.
* Familiar and passionate with HR software and platforms, such as Bright HR, or similar HRIS.
* Experience in processing payroll and managing employee records.
* Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in HR administration.
* Excellent attention to detail, good organisational skills with strong written and verbal communication.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Salary up to c£25k depending on experience, 23+8 days holiday, Monday to Friday 08.00-17.00, parking on site, perks, sick pay and Employee Assistance Programme.
