Goldhawk Associates are supporting a leading Maidstone based firm of Chartered Accountants looking to appoint and Audit Senior. You will be qualified ACA/ACCA with a stable career history and academic record.

Working within an established team you will be dealing with and managing audit jobs, expected to attend on-site audits with clients. You will have exposure to a mixed portfolio of businesses typically their medium sized clients. You will be responsible for supporting clients and producing audits and audit files for review, draft documentation, accounts and corporate tax computations. Depending on your level of experience:

You will carry out review work on audits and accounts prepared by colleagues, mentor and supervise junior members of staff and work effectively to provide a professional client service and experience. You will help build and maintain successful relationships with clients and provide ongoing critiques of, and improvements to, auditing and accounting processes. You will manage the workload and deal with the delegation of work, deal with invoices and prepare proposals for new business.

This role would suit someone with a minimum of 4 years` experience in practice with the ability to demonstrate experience of working within audit for a variety of business entities. Previous knowledge and experience of working with not for profit, charities and academies is desirable. It is essential for you to be able to demonstrate technical knowledge combined with commercial awareness and strong communication skills.
