Mould Toolmaker
Our client based in Ashford has an exciting opportunity for a Mould Toolmaker to join their growing team to work in the production department, maintaining and manufacturing moulds to limit production downtime.
Salary: £25-30,000/annum depending on experience.
The role works an 8 hour day shift, 40 hours a week.
Responsibilities include:
* Maintain high standards of production and fault finding in regard to tool settings
* Repair and maintenance of tools where required
* Update and revise required SOP/documents for improved practices
* Uphold and drive company Health and safety standards
* Ensure operational tolerances for the injection mould tools
* Aid in the design of specialised `purpose` tools where required
* Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of the role
Skills and Experience
* Experience in a tool-making role is essential to the job
* Knowledge of CNC milling and Sparking systems would be highly advantageous for this role, but not essential
* Be proactive with a can-do attitude for problem-solving
* Must be IT literate and have experience of MS works
* Good handling for tool setting/working
* Ability to read and comprehend technical drawings for tools
