Railway Standards Coordinator (United Kingdom (GB)

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity at Eurotunnel for a highly dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our System Safety and Railway Standards Division as a Railway Standards Coordinator. You will be responsible for the implementation of the Eurotunnel Safety Management System and on behalf of the HSQE, will coordinate the drawing up of the practical provisions for the Safety Authorisation, as part of the safety evidence requirements expressed in the European safety Directive. You will promote knowledge of the applicable regulatory framework to integrate the requirements into Eurotunnel’s principles and major processes.
The Person
Educated to Degree Level or equivalent in Safety, Quality, and/or Management, with proven demonstratable knowledge within an organisation in sectors that have allowed you to become familiar with the major Railway and Safety processes and to participate directly in its operational and safety activities. You must be Fluent in English and French, to be able to verbally communicate technical and operational topics, to lead international meetings, and to critically read and write documents.
This role will interest you if you are a strong communicator, who enjoys building excellent relationships with stakeholders at all levels, contributing to a positive team atmosphere. You will need to demonstrate your ability to be analytical and detail-orientated in your approach, taking initiative and acting with confidence in problem solving in real time.
