English Teacher – Ashford
Main Pay scale up to M6 – Full-time and part-time – September Start

Supply Desk is currently recruiting for English Teachers for a variety of roles, including long-term cover and potential temp-to-perm roles, in the Ashford area.

The Schools we work with

There isn’t a specific type of school that you would have access to through Supply Desk. We work in partnership with Academy Trusts and schools on individual basis, ranging from mainstream comprehensive, Grammar and Independent Schools.

Over the years we have cultivated good relationships with the schools across North Kent and as such have a great knowledge of the challenges and benefits you will encounter when working in them, from behaviour to ethos and even insight into certain classes.

The Role
• Teaching the UK English curriculum to GCSE and A-Level
• Planning and Marking responsibilities could be involve for longer term positions
• Attending staff meetings, parent’s evenings and inset days


The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have previous experience teaching UK English Curriculum, A-level experience highly desirable
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
