Financial Accountant - Straight from practice firm Folkestone, Kent

Your new company
You will work for an exciting organisation based in Folkestone, Kent. The Financial Accountant role is a full time and permanent position.

Your new role

* Overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts, reporting variances to budget/LY/reforecast.
* Ensure monthly deadlines for flash P&L and board report are met.
* Take ownership of month-end sales, stock, and margin reconciliation.
* Ownership of the balance sheet.
* Responsible for all company quarterly VAT returns.
* Develop and nurture a talented team of 2 Assistant Accountants.
* Attend and represent finance in inter-departmental manager team meetings.

What you'll need to succeed

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
* Strong experience in similar roles managing large volumes of data and providing in depth analysis (ideally within practice).
* Proficient in both management and financial accounting.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive salary of circa £55,000 per annum.
