Nursery Teacher – Dartford
MPS – Full-time– September

Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a teacher to teach a Nursery Class on a full-time basis, with a view to temp-to-perm. Interviews for this role are commencing ASAP.

The school
They are a newly formed school and opened in September 2020, and are now in their third year of opening and have two forms of entry for nursery, reception and year 1 and one form of entry for year 2, year 3 and year 4. They will continue to grow year-by-year, eventually to a two-form entry school, as the community grows around them. This academic year, their Specialist Resource Provision for children with Autism opened and they have children ranging from reception to year 3 accessing this provision.

They take pride in their creative and entrepreneurial curriculum as it not only engages children, but challenges them to develop the skills - as well as the knowledge - befitting of the twenty-first century. They know the children will leave school ready for the next stage of learning.

We love being part of the Ebbsfleet Garden City community and work in active partnership with residents, parents, carers and local businesses. We believe that by listening and being partners with our community, we will deliver an education to our children that will create respectful, compassionate and inquiring life-long learners.

The Role
• Teaching the Primary UK curriculum, with focus on Nursery
• Planning and Marking responsibilities
• PPA Cover responsibilities (if required)

The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have previous experience teaching UK Nursery curriculum
• Have previous experience teaching in UK Primary schools in either Nursery or Reception
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
