Premier Recruitment Group is working on behalf of prestigious client who is looking for Workshop Engineer Assistant based in Coulsdon, Surrey. This is full time and permanent position.

Our client is a small but fast-growing, family run company that specialises in manufacturing and supplying anti-slip systems and structures for passenger and site safety.

* We are looking to recruit a full time works engineer to assist in the workshop operations including fabrication & assembly.
* The successful applicant will embrace our company values, that our staff work in line with to successfully deliver projects.
* The applicant must be fit and accustomed to handling heavy components using appropriate equipment.
* The work will involve manufacturing of access structures, fabrication of stair edges, building of handrail units and other associated systems.
* The use of machinery such as pillar drills, large bench saws, wall saws, hand power tools will be required and handling of adhesives.
* Full training will be given and recorded.
* Based on performance and regular management reviews, there is prospect for promotion within the workshop to managerial roles.

Job Type:

* Full time, Permanent, Mon to Fri (7.30am - 16.30pm)
* ½ hour lunch + 2 x 15-minute tea breaks AM + PM
* £25,000 starting salary
