Are you a qualified accountant looking to work in a hybrid role where you can manage your own portfolio of clients and take a pro-active approach to developing client relationships? If so, my client has an excellent Client Manager opportunity for you.
I am working with a rapidly growing, technology focussed firm of Accountants based in Ashford to recruit a qualified Client Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to a Partner, you will be given the autonomy to manage a portfolio of clients.
This will be a varied role where you will be required to:
• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing them with accounting and business advisory services.
• Supervise a small team of bookkeepers and offshore accountants ensuring quality control of accounts production, VAT returns and payroll functions.
• Use your practice management knowledge to effect process and systems improvements to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
• Continuously develop your knowledge of accounting and business advisory services, keeping up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
To be considered for this Client Manager role, applicants will have strong technical knowledge and will ideally be fully qualified (ACA,ACCA) You may be managing a client portfolio but candidates who are looking to gain experience in this area are encouraged to apply. You will have strong communication skills and will be able to demonstrate an ability to manage and develop internal and external relationships. Previous exposure to Xero and a desire to work in a technology lead environment is a must.
