Domestic Abuse Safe Accommodation Support Service

If your answer is “yes!” to these questions, then we hope you are interested to hear that we are looking for team members to join our innovative new service that will provide child-centred, outcome-focused, specialist support for children and young people who live in safe accommodation because of domestic abuse.

The role of the Participation and Engagement Worker will be to proactively engage children, young people and their families who are entering safe accommodation, ensuring that their needs can be met, capturing their voices about ways in which the service could develop, overcoming barriers, evaluating the impact of support and establishing group-based practitioner and peer-led support groups.

The successful candidate will have a degree in a related area and demonstrate their creativity, enthusiasm, engagement skills and excellent communication.

Contract: 2 x full-time posts available across Kent (North/West and South/East). Contract initially for two years. Extension subject to continued funding.
