Premier Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a well established and international organisation in Dartford to recruit a Continuous Improvement Process Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting, full-time and permanent role.
We are currently seeking a CI Process Engineer who will directly report to CI Manager.
* The main responsibilities of the role will be to use Lean/Six Sigma methodology to deliver projects that demonstrate safe, compliant, and sustainable solutions to operational issues and waste.
* The successful candidate will be an integral player in supporting and improving the various processes across the whole site but focusing primarily on the administrative elements of the business.
* Provide process expertise along with key skills relating to process optimisation and problem solving.
* Support and deliver projects from the Project Portfolio and work closely with all teams to ensure that CI is embedded at every level within the organisation and that all deliverables are constantly improved.
* Embrace and drive company's core mission, values, and priorities.
Duties And Responsibilities:
* Working with the CI Manager, to coordinate and facilitate process improvement projects.
* Ensuring timely feedback on progress and constraints where applicable
* Guarantee site suggestion scheme is promoted and supported to ensure engagement is maintained
* Delivery of CI projects that are typically complex in nature and involve cross function team members and stakeholders.
* Support and mentor business trainee LSS Green Belts in the delivery of CI projects and achieve certification.
* Identify opportunities for 'Keep Getting Better', supported by sponsor engagement and charters where applicable
* Support the CI manager in delivery of CI/Lean training to the site
* Support the CI Manager deliver the CI Communication strategy
* Deputise for the CI manager in standard meetings (i.e. project reviews) when necessary
* Identify opportunities to develop self in terms of knowledge and understanding of Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques and developments
Required Education/Experience/Qualifications
* Degree, or time served in an equivalent discipline
* Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or demonstrates a similar approach to problem solving
* PC Skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Strong Working Knowledge of Problem-solving tools.
* The ideal candidate would have experience in the following:
* Demonstrated experience in implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives in non-production processes
* Understanding of Risk management
* Demonstrated expertise in problem solving
* Experience working within a lean Six Sigma environment.
* A good working knowledge of administrative processes across the business
* Demonstrated project and time management skills, including a track record of creating plans and meeting deadlines.
* Proven ability to balance multiple, competing priorities
