We are currently working with a marketing leading business based in Gravesend. Due to continuous growth, they are looking to recruit a Procurement Analyst to join their established team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for the cost-effective ordering of essential technical stock and components. They will also manage the relationships with suppliers and support the Procurement Manager.

Responsibilities will include:

Understand market players, trends, and price movements.
Conduct supplier portfolio analysis and assist the Procurement Manager and other key stakeholders with devising supply strategies.
Develop a portfolio of current and new suppliers.
Maintain a preferred supplier list.
Conduct bids and tenders as required.
Support internal stakeholders in determining cost-effective specifications and or solutions.
Support the Procurement Manager in negotiating and implementing supply contracts and service-level agreements.
Conduct supplier audits in line with procurement processes and policies.
Periodically visit current and potential new suppliers.
Maintain commercial terms in SAP.
Create purchase orders in SAP.
Confirm delivery dates and manage ongoing issues and queries.
Proactively ensure agreed delivery dates are met.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Previous experience working in a procurement/buying or supply chain role.
A friendly team player who is happy working with sales, warehouse staff, and other
colleagues.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent knowledge of SAP and ability to use Excel and other Microsoft Office apps.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to progress their procurement career with a business that can offer ongoing development and training. There is the option to work from home 2 days per week and 3 days in the office. Benefits will include 25 days holiday, healthcare, death in service benefits, and a 5% bonus.
