New Appointments Group are partnering with a leading manufacturing company of premium fencing, gates and garden accessories.
We are looking for Assembly & Mill Operatives. Initially a temporary opportunity with successful candidates becoming permanent after 12 weeks.
Timber assembly work includes:
* Using hand tools and general assembly
* Assembling the parts into a structure
* To work at speed in order to maintain production flow
* Understand and exactly follow works instructions
Mill Operatives will be required to:
* Operate Mechanical Wood Machines
* Planer Moulders
* Ability to work to a tight time frame
* Heavy Lifting will be involved
Required skills:
* Experience of working with hand tools to assemble wooden structures would be beneficial, but full training is provided
* Interest in maintenance and DIY
* Experience working in a factory or warehouse environment would be useful
* Reliable, strong work ethic and organisational skills
* An eye for detail and high level of accuracy
* Good timekeeping and attendance
Hours are between 8am-5.45pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on Friday. Full time and part time shifts available.
