Therapeutically Informed Young Person and Family Support Service
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with complex and/or crisis needs?
Are you keen to advocate for children and young people to make sure their voices are heard?
If your answer is “yes!” to these questions, then we hope you are interested to hear that we are looking for team members to join our innovative new service that will provide therapeutically informed support to children and young people with complex and crisis care needs and their families.
The service will work with multi-agency partners to reduce placement/family breakdown, and the need for more specialist provision, whilst enabling children and young people to more fully engage in their local communities, supporting the development of resilience, promoting participation, enhancing support networks and improving overall well-being.
While your background may be in school, mentoring, counselling, youth work or any other related area, we are particularly looking for solution focused, resourceful and dynamic individuals with excellent communication skills.
Location: Swale & Canterbury,
Contract: Part-time (2.5 days) Initially until April 2025. Extension subject to continued funding. All variations of full and part-time working will be considered.
