We have an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Assistant to join an exceptional, Tonbridge based team with an IMMEDIATE START! They are currently conducting interviews and looking to fill this position on a temp-to-perm basis.

Experience within the finance industry is required and ideally, you will combine this with an AAT qualification and a friendly, approachable demeanour to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.

Responsibilities:
• Collecting payments and managing outstanding balances
• Updating and inputting data from manual records into a new system
• Proficient in VAT calculations and procedures
• Credit control activities to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Assisting with purchase ledger management
• Utilising Excel for financial analysis and reporting
• Processing invoices accurately and efficiently
• Familiarity with PS Financial System is beneficial but not essential

Location: Tonbridge
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 per annum
Working Hours: Ideally Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm – flexibility with hours offered
Start Date: Immediate contract/Temp - Perm
Sector: Education - Year-round employment, not term time
