My client is an established organisation based in East Kent and they have a requirement for an Accounts Assistant, AAT Qualified or equivalent. They have several elements to their business and are very diverse. Due to growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to their team. Their client base is interesting and is concentrated in the sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies area.
Your role will be to work closely with the business, taking responsibility for working with the managers and partners to support them in their provision of accounting services dealing with the accounts preparation, bookkeeping, and tax returns
They need someone with all-round experience in:
General accounts preparations and support
Assists in the preparation of the accounts under IRS 102
Assist in the preparation of corporate and income tax computations
Ad hoc support as required
Good communications skills
Time management and planning skills
Team engagement and self-starter
Experience in IRIS, Caseware, and strong general IT skills is key
You must be capable of turning your hand to most things as this is an involved role that requires a friendly commercial and flexible approach.
