My client, a large and progressive organisation based in Mid Kent, is looking to recruit a Senior Financial Control Manager. This is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Financial Control. Key responsibilities will include:

- Full ownership of the Group`s control and governance framework
- Driving forward Group integration activities, aligning processes & controls to the Group`s target operating model
- Review of processes within Financial Control in particular month end reporting
- Review of accounting to ensure compliant with standards, as well as working across the Finance Department to ensure accounting approach is consistent, documented and fully rolled out to the Financial Control team
- Assist with month end reporting activities including review and approval of the Group`s more technical accounting journals
- Review Financial control system capability and development to support reporting activities and needs
- Work with a range of stakeholders and across sites to deliver specific needs and working closely with teams to roll out changes required
- Deputise or assist the Head of Financial Control with a wide range of activities, examples could include management of the Financial Control team, month end reporting activities, workings for input into file notes or reporting papers, as well as investigating differences

The successful candidate will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified with the ability to drive change and take ownership of tasks through to completion.
