We are currently seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join my clients finance team in Maidstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support to the business, ensuring accurate and timely management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:
-Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
-Analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
-Preparation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis.
-Ensure that all financial statements and reports comply with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
-Assist in the development of business plans and strategies.
-Provide financial analysis to support key business decisions.
-Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure a coordinated approach to financial reporting and analysis.
-Support the year-end audit process.
-Provide financial support to other departments as required.
-Ensure that financial processes and controls are in place and adhered to.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Management Accountant.
-Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
-Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-Ability to work to targets and deadlines.
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other finance software.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications:
-Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA
-Qualified by experience will also be considered.
