English Teacher (Responsibility for Thinking and Reading) – Tunbridge Wells
MPS/UPS with TLR – Full-time – September 2023

Supply Desk is currently recruiting for an English Teacher to hold responsibility for Thinking and Reading. This role is on a temp-to-perm perm basis and shortlisting for this positon is happening now, with interviews happening at the earliest convenience for the right candidate.

The Role
• Teaching English Language and Literature up to KS5
• Be responsible for leading initiatives and interventions focused on Reading and Thinking for the whole school
• Planning and Marking responsibilities
• Attending staff meetings, parent’s evenings and inset days


The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have previous experience teaching UK English curriculum
• Have previous experience teaching English up to A-Level
• Experience of Leadership would be highly desirable but not essential
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
