Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a Head of Department for Design Technology. This role is on a perm basis and shortlisting for this positon is happening now, with interviews happening at the earliest convenience for the right candidate.

The Role
• Leading the DT department, delivering lessons up to KS5
• Keeping up to date and delivering CPD in curriculum changes and teaching strategies
• Providing professional support for the teachers and technicians within the department
• Planning and Marking responsibilities
• Attending staff meetings, parent’s evenings and inset days


The Ideal Candidate
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Must have previous experience teaching UK DT curriculum
• Have previous experience teaching a discipline of DT up to A-Level
• Experience of Leadership would be highly desirable but not essential
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
