My client based in Ashford are currently seeking a part time Accounts Assistant to join their growing team in Ashford. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years` experience in an accounts role and will be responsible for assisting the Accounts Department with day-to-day accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
-Supporting the accounts team in maintaining accurate financial records
-Processing invoices, expenses and payments
-Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
-Preparing and submitting VAT returns
-Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
-Providing general administrative support to the Accounts Department
Requirements:
-A minimum of 2 years` experience in an account`s role
-Strong attention to detail and accuracy
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
-Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
This is an exciting position, with the opportunity to grown and develop as the company grows. The role can be flexible to suit someone who has outside responsibilities and would like to balance them with a part time role.
