TRAINEE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT

Initially, you will play a key role in promoting apprenticeship opportunities to both employers and school leavers, giving you the ability to connect with and inspire many individuals who are exploring apprenticeships as a viable career choice.
Prior experience is not essential but anyone applying from a sales/customer service background would be at an advantage. However, if you have a flair for communication and a strong attention to detail - you already have a skillset we can enhance and develop!
As a Trainee Business Development Consultant, your role will include:
· Identifying and cultivating relationships with potential employers
· Organising and cleansing of data in preparation for employer engagement
· Presenting information to employers and schools
· Self-managing projects and campaigns
· Shadowing colleagues across departments to gain a deeper understanding of the business
· Engaging in telephone conversations with employers and potential apprentices
· Performing various computer based administrative duties as required by the role.
· Organising and attending various events in and around Kent (valid driving licence and car is required)
We can offer comprehensive training that will provide ample opportunity for you to observe and learn from our experienced Business Development team. You will gain insights into how they interact with employers and build client relationships. With successful training, you could also have the opportunity to earn a related qualification after your probationary period, aligning with our commitment to invest in our staff and our Gold Investors in People ethos.
Salary
This full-time position is Monday to Friday, with working hours from 08:30 to 17:00 (37.5 hours per week). The starting salary is £21,000 and has potential to be adjusted based on performance and progress within the role. Within the first 12 to 18 months, excellent performance could enhance salary opportunities, with the potential to reach £24,000 and a move to Business Development Consultant.
