Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services) MEP consultants
* Faversham Office
* Hybrid working pattern
* 37.5 hours per week
* £35,000 - £40,000
* Support with chartership
Due to consistent performance and an increase in enquiries, this national multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking to recruit an Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer to join their office in Kent.
Their portfolio of building services engineering offerings includes heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, electrical, fire protection, lifts, security, communications and building management systems. They also undertake asset management plan surveys of building services.
The successful applicant will be involved in projects from the following sectors: Commercial; Education; Healthcare; Industrial; Leisure and Residential. Duties will include
- Project costing
- Managing sub-contractors
- Pump sizing
- Design chilled water systems
- Heat gain/heat loss calculations
- Sizing up ductwork
- Equipment selection
- Attending site meetings/client visits
- Design with Revit
