Goldhawk Associates are working with an established regional Firm of Accountants, supporting them to appoint an Accounts Semi-Senior. Based in Ashford this opportunity can offer a nurturing environment with a supportive attitude towards development and training and where progression is encouraged.
Depending on your experience you will be involved in supporting or preparing management accounts and general bookkeeping, VAT, corporation tax, auditing, and general provision of accounting services. You will gain exposure to a varied client base, with exposure to large clients, and will be client engaging so good communications skills are key.
You will be responsible for:
Preparation of accounts predominately for limited companies as well as sole traders and LLPs
Preparation of corporation tax computations
VAT returns
Liaising with the HMRC
Bookkeeping
General accounting services and support
Preparation of packs for client meetings
At times, assist in audit assignments with a team to achieve successful completion of audits on a timely basis.
Maintain a good working relationship with clients.
Support and assist in training junior members of the team.
It is essential that you have previous experience of working within an accountancy practice, be ACA/ ACCA Part-qualified or
AAT Qualified looking to continue your studies. Full support will be offered.
